Some subjects stay with you. A horse you have known for years. A child at a certain age. A moment between a person and an animal that says more than words can.
Those are the paintings worth creating.
My work is rooted in equine art, but the core is about character and presence. Horses, dogs, people, children. What matters is the story, not the species.
Not every request becomes a painting. That is not about exclusivity. It is about honesty. If a subject moves me, the work will show that.

How it works
Tell me what you want to capture and why it matters. A photo, a description, a feeling. Whatever you have.
If the subject works, we talk. About the composition, the format, the approach. We figure that out together.
Whenever possible, I do a personal shoot. It gives me what no existing photo can. When distance or circumstance makes that impossible, I work with what you provide. The more you give me, the better.
Once we agree on the concept and the price, work begins after a deposit. You receive updates along the way.
Pricing
Commissions start from €2,600. The final price depends on format, complexity. A personal shoot is, when possible, a part of the process.
Every painting is delivered in a wooden floater frame. Other framing options are available on request through the studio.

Framing
Commissioned works are delivered in a wooden floater frame as standard. For collectors who want to take it further, we work with frames from Vadia, one of the leading suppliers in the field. Jeffrey handles all framing in-house.
A selection of frames is available in the studio. You are welcome to come and choose in person. Custom orders are also possible.
Framing is not only for new commissions. If you have a work at home that deserves a better setting, bring it in.
Kleintje Kunst is delivered unframed. A floater frame or decorative frame is available on request.
Installation
Jeffrey can install your work on location. Also available for relocations, including transport and rehang across a new space.
Transport crates
Custom-built wooden crates for safe art transport. For collectors and artists. Available for pickup by your own courier or freight service.
International
For artwork and practical services we are open to requests. Additional travel and accommodation costs apply.
